BARRY EHRMANN
EMMY AWARD–WINNING PRODUCER • DIRECTOR • ENTERTAINMENT EXECUTIVE
EXECUTIVE PROFILE
Emmy Award–winning producer, director, entertainment executive, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years creating, preserving, and commercializing premium music and live entertainment. As founder and President of King Biscuit Flower Hour Records, Ehrmann discovered the commercial potential of the legendary King Biscuit Flower Hour archive and acquired more than 650 historic live concert recordings spanning three decades. He created innovative rights-clearance strategies to resolve complex artist, label, publishing, union, and other intellectual-property issues, then monetized the restored performances through CD distribution in partnership with BMG—transforming the archive into one of the most valuable live-music catalogs of its era.
Ehrmann later founded Enliven Entertainment, where he combined that entrepreneurial and rights-driven foundation with cinematic creative leadership. His end-to-end experience spans concept development, financing, rights acquisition, business affairs, multi-million-dollar production, post-production, marketing, licensing, and worldwide distribution across concert films, television and streaming specials, theatrical events, fashion, Broadway, stand-up comedy, festivals, documentaries, and archival content. He is trusted by leading artists, managers, estates, labels, networks, platforms, venues, and distributors to deliver artist-driven productions at global scale.
